Canada Bankruptcy and Florida Property

I would like to know if when filing for bankruptcy while living in Ontario do i have to disclose that I own a property (a house) in the state of florida? do I have to name this as an asset?

Yes – of course you do. All assets where ever they may be. If the house has equity you will be required to pay an amount equal to the equity into your bankruptcy for the benefit of your unsecured creditors.
