If I am expecting money from an estate that hasn`t been settled (the person died over a year ago), and I now declare bankruptcy, will I lose that money?

Yes, any time you are in bankruptcy and there is a windfall of money that you are owed, you will loose these funds. While there are some exceptions to this, an inheritance does not fall into this list of exceptions.
