What is included in allowable furniture?

Are beds included in the $4,000 of allowable furniture? I bought a new bed approximately 6 months ago.

Yes bed are included unless you bought the bed on a deferred payment plan (i.e. don’t pay a cent event, no money miracle) or simply paid for it on a credit card and have not paid it off. If you haven’t paid for the bed, it is not considered your asset and the only way to keep that bed is to re-purchase it from the trustee (i.e. if the bed cost $1500, then to keep the bed you need to pay $1500 into the trustee).
