As a US resident, is it possible to file Canadian bankruptcy?

I am a Canadian citizen living in the US and I have two credit cards that have become impossible to manage. As a US resident, is it possible to file Canadian bankruptcy on Canadian credit card debt?

Yes, as a resident of the United States you can file a bankruptcy in Canada. However, a Canadian bankruptcy must be filed in “the locality of the debtor.” This could mean where you carried on business during the preceding year; or where you have resided at any time during the preceding year or alternatively where the greater portion of where your property is situated.
