length of time on credit

I was curious; when does the time a bankruptcy stays on your credit after bankruptcy start? after the automatic discharge or if there is a conditional discharge after that?

A first time bankruptcy will stay on your credit for 6 years from the date you receive your discharge. This would be your Automatic Discharge or your Absolute Discharge. A Conditional Order is not a discharge, when you complete the Conditional Order you will receive your Absolute Discharge.
