are you aloud to have a secured credit card while you are in bankruptcy and what is the limit on them..i’m looking to get $200.00

As long as you don’t have that card when you file for bankruptcy and then apply for it after the bankruptcy is filed, then you are fine. The requirements stipulate you are not able to have any credit cards in your possession when you file, but after that date as long as you disclose that you are currently in bankruptcy when applying for the card, then you have no problems.
