Seperated during Bankrupty

September 26th, 2011 by Questions

I am married,(but now seperated) and I have claimed personal bankruptcy, myself, not my husband. I have not been discharged as of yet, but now my husband and I have seperated, and I have moved out of the family home, how does this effect my bankruptcy regarding household income? I am afraid to tell my trustee…what should I do?

Talk to your trustee – the amuont you are permitted to earn changes when your family size and living arrangements change. It may save you some money – more importantly, you are required to keep your trustee informed about this sort of thing.
