inheritance during bankruptcy

hi there just wondering if someone passed away 1 week before your disscharge date from bankruptcy will the monies received in an inheritance be garneshed

Because this event happened just prior to your discharge, while you were still in bankruptcy, they are an asset that vests in your trustee. Meaning the inheritance will be lost and will ultimately be distributed among your creditors.
Legally you need to disclose this to your trustee, failure to do so will have very significant implications.
