hi, i live with my parents. i dont pay rent, but i do pay for my own groceries, cell phone bill etc. also my parents dont work, but my dad get EI. would my parents be affected in any way ?

There shouldn’t be any impact on your parents if you file for bankruptcy. It would be different if the household pooled resources, but your parents won’t be penalized for helping you out.
