Judgement Proof

November 12th, 2009 by Questions

I saw your advice to someone that was unemployed and filing bankrupty… You said he was `Judgement Proof` because he had no job or assests… Does this apply if you are collecting unemployment?

Judegement proof simply means your income is to low or your assets are not sufficient for your creditors to garish or seize.

So being on unemployment may result in someone being judgement proof, but there are other factors that must be looked at to determine this.
