Working abroad
I am currently unemployed and unable to collect EI (I quit my job because of horrible work conditions). I made a nice salary and was living a pretty comfortable lifestyle, but now I am in a lot of debt and am thinking of claiming bankruptcy. The industry I was in is really dry right now and I;m having a lot of trouble finding work. However, I do have the opportunity to go work overseas. Can I do this once I`ve claimed bankruptcy?

There is no problem with you working overseas while you are in bankruptcy. While there may be some logistical issues that need to be worked out in terms of attendance at meetings you can discuss this directly with your trustee.
