Bankruptcy and uncooperative spouse

I have about 90K of personal debt and currently unemployed and thinking of going back to university. I`am married and my wife`s income is sufficient to cover household expenses but not the minimum payments on my debt.
Declaring bankruptcy seems to be the only option available right now but it has a hitch. My wife is unwilling to let her income and assets be disclosed. The debt is all mine and occurred prior to marriage and she feels she does not have anything to do with it.
Is there anyway short of separation that she can be kept out of bankruptcy proceedings?

As this is somewhat complicated it is going to be best if you discuss this with a local trustee and see if there is some way to proceed that will resolve your spouses concerns. At the most basic level it is a requirement of the process for you to disclose this information but the trustee will look at things, see if there is anyway to resolve it and then help to develop options that will not prevent the filing of a bankruptcy.
