opposing a discharge

June 1st, 2009 by Questions

At the 11th hour of my discharge, my ex who I was partners with in a business decides he is going to oppose my discharge. He was the only oppostion to my discharge. He was the cause of my bankruptcy in the first place. I can`t afford legal representation for the hearing, can I get help through legal aid? or do I need to go it alone and hope for the best?

At this point you should really be discussing this with your Trustee as they will be more familiar with the reasons for the discharge and as a result will have a much better idea of what to expect.
