What happens if I file for bankruptcy but am paying spousal support

What happens if I file for bankruptcy but am paying spousal support? Do I still pay, obviously I don`t have any money if I`m filing. OR do the payments stop? Just wondering how it worked.

Bankruptcy does not affect your requirement to pay support – after you file you will still have to make those payments.
