maternity leave over during bankruptcy
May 27th, 2009 by Questions
what happens to the surplus income once my maternity leave payments are over? Does my husband get to keep more of his wages instead of paying the trustee? Also if you owe money for taxes and gst to they keep your children`s tax benefits and universal taxes?

The Surplus Income Obligation is directly impacted by any changes of income during a bankruptcy. So you are correct, if your income goes down the Surplus Income Calculation will result in a lower monthly payment.
