Creditors oppose people’s discharges for many different reasons – the amount of debt doesn’t necesarily increase or decrease the likelihood of an opposition.
The most common reason that crediotrs oppose a person’s discharge is the improper use of credit prior to filing. For example using a credit card to go out and buy a large number of “gift certificates” just before filing for bankruptcy or a proposal.
If you’ve not done anything inappropriate then you shouldn’t worry about a creditor opposing your discharge – it’s a fairly rare occurance.
