If i am a bank teller and am thinking of a claiming bankruptcy can i lose my job? and if my plans had been in the future to do my mutual funds to become a personal banker is that impossible after bankruptcy?

There is nothing in the Bankruptcy Act that would result in you loosing your job or any potential for advancement in that field. However, every bank is a little different and may look at a bankruptcy negatively, which indirectly may affect your chances.

As a result of this I would encourage you to consider filing a consumer proposal as opposed to a bankrutpcy as it can potentially help you to avoid any adverse effect on employment and employment possibilities.
