Bank Statements & T4 Slip
December 21st, 2007 by Questions
When filing for personal bankrupcy, what is looked at by the Trustee, and how far back do they normally look.
Will the trustee require all my bank statements for the last 12 months or just the last month?
How about my T4 slips or Assessment notices from CRA. How far back to they look. ?
Much appreciated.

Unless you have been involved in unusual transactions it is very unlikely that your trustee will go through the last 12 months of transactions.
The trustee will review the last 3 months for sure as these will be provided by your creditors. But if there is a need the trustee can review a longer period if necessary.
