Student Loans and Wage Garnishment Rates
July 23rd, 2007 by Questions
I\’m having some issues with Student loans right now. I was curious as to what percentage that Student Loans can garnish of a person\’s wage?
(Currently, making 11 dollars an hour for 37.5 hours a week in PEI.)
Thanks.

This is a question that is best directed to a local trustee as the answer is based on provincial legilstion that I am not familiar with.
However there will be a cap that is determined based on your income and typically the number of dependants you have.
