discharge hearing advice

May 21st, 2007 by Questions

our bankruptcy discharge hearing is in the near future and we assumed that this is part of our trustee\’s responsibility is to go with us(since we don\’t fully understand this process) but we have been told that this would cost extra for this service. Is it necessary for the trustee to attend this hearing? What questions should we be prepared to answer? Thank-You

Your trustee is required to be at this hearing. You should call him in advance, advise him that you will be there and ask for an idea of what he expects will take place.
