Selling my house after being discharged
January 19th, 2007 by Questions
I declared bankruptcy in January 2006 and was discharged in October 2006. My personal residence survived the bankruptcy. How soon after recieving a absolute discharge, can I sell my property?
Would the trustee still have any vested intered in the proceeds of the sale?
This Bankruptcy was in Ontario.

If you have received a discharge from bankruptcy and during the bankruptcy there was no non-exempt issues that arose, then you shouldn’t have any issues. Once you have been discharged your obligations relating to the bankruptcy have been completed and it should be life back to normal.
