Closing a Bankruptcy File
January 25th, 2007 by Questions
I filed for bankruptcy and met all of the requirements 17 months ago via BDO Dunwoody, yet there is still a delay in getting my file signed off by the Courts Registrar. What action can I take to escalate this matter to get it resolved? I have sent a fax to the court Registrar with the file number and have asked BDO to follow up to no avail.
Frustrated

If the delay is due to a backlog at court there is really nothing that can be done. The best thing for you to do is to contact your trustee and simply ask this question of him.
