Will I lose my realty licence if I declare personal bankruptcy? I live in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

In general across Canada you cannot be a broker while you are bankrupt, but in most cases you can still be a real estate agent (providing you are not managing trust funds). I suggest you contact the licensing body and ask them to tell you for sure what the implications of filing bankruptcy are for you. In many cases if they know in advance it will not impact on your license, but you don’t want to take my word for it; you want to hear it from the people who give you your license.
