Are appliances part of home equity ?

Are appliances (fridge, stove, washer, dishwasher) taken into account when calculating the value of the house to establish the home equity ? Or they are separate assets ?

No, these are separate assets and depending on what province you live in there is potentially an additional exemption that is available to use on these types of assets.
