Consumer Proposal (Certificate of full performance)

October 15th, 2005 by Questions

I\’ve just recently received my Certficate of full performance for my consumer prosal in Jul/2005. I\’m getting some mix messages my trustee has informed me that my creditors on my credit report from Equifax and TransUnion should be purged. And the only thing that should be on the credit report is my Consumer Proposal? Is this correct I\’ve recently ordered my Equifax and TransUnion and my creditors are still showing up.

Thanks

My understanding of the credit bureau is that this information will not be purged until 3 years from the date the proposal was completed. In the mean time you will see an R7 listed with each of your creditors impacted by the proposal. For more information you may want to contact the credit bureau directly.
