Consumer proposal and obtaining credit card
September 12th, 2005 by Questions
I have just recently completed a consumer proposal with my creditors. I made all of the payments on time and have received my certificate of completion. Is it possible to obtain a credit card that is not secured or will I have to apply for a secured one?

It may be possible to get a credit card, but it may take a while until you start to rebuild your credit. A secured credit card is generally the quickest way to get a credit card after a proposal or bankruptcy is over.
