While you are in personal bankruptcy or after you have filed for bankruptcy, can you become director for a canadian company?

While you are in bankruptcy, the Canadian Business Corporations Act and it’s provincial counterparts clearly stipulate that you are not eligible to be a director of a corporation while you are in bankruptcy. However, there is no problem with being a director once you are discharged from bankruptcy.
