What is the law in Alberta for this after they have siezed your car? And how do you know if it is a Conditional Sales Contract?

This can be a complicated issue and you may want to consider consulting with a solicitor. However, the seize or sue legislation only applies to Conditional Sales Contracts and states that upon default the lender has the right to seize or sue, not both.
