How much would a trustee cost with me having no assets, not being able to work and receiving monthly $1200 income from the government?

Directive 11R of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act specifies the required payments to be made to the trustee based on your income and household size. Should you not have any surplus income based on those standards, the amount the trustee will charge you per month to file an Assignment in bankruptcy will vary from trustee to trustee. However, there may be other alternatives for you besides filing an Assignment in bankruptcy. You should speak with a local trustee to determine the options that are available to you.
