RESP Bankruptcy

I owe Canada student loan and Ontario student loan. My wife hold an RESP account for our child. Can my creditors take away my child’s RESP?

RESPs are NOT protected under the law – if your name is on the account then it may be at risk. If your name is not on the account then it is not at risk from your creditors.
