In order to file bankruptcy you need to meet a couple of criteria. 1) You must owe greater than $1,000 and 2) You must have either resided in Canada in the past 12 months or currently own property within Canada. If you fulfill those two conditions, you can contact a Trustee to arrange the filing of a bankruptcy and discuss your obligations during the process.
