Rebuilding Credit After Bankruptcy
February 11th, 2014 by Questions
l claimed bankruptcy, and was discharged in dec. of 2006. it’s been over seven years now since that date. in those seven years, i have not used credit of any kind. will my credit be restored now that presumably there isn’t any record on file, or do i have to rebuild my credit somehow, ie. a secure credit card?

The credit bureaus report facts, while there may not be anything negative on your credit report because of the passage of time, there may not be anything positive reported either. Things such as secured credit cards, in paying attention to credit details can be very helpful in rebuilding credit scores.
