Unfortunately only the mortgage lenders can give you an answer to that question. Lenders look at three things generally when you apply for a mortgage. They look at your income level and stability of that income; your debt ratio and your credit score. If you have used the credit you obtained after your consumer proposal responsibly, than your debt ratio should be excellent. Therefore if you have the income to support a mortgage, you may be successful with your application . It may be that you are offered a slightly higher interest rate than the current rates. If you accept this, I would recommend a shorter term mortgage. Upon renewal you may be offered a better rate once the bank sees you have met your mortgage obligations for the first term. An appointment with a mortgage specialist that you are comfortable with is your best option to get information about this issue.
