Which bank
Have read that i should open a new bank account with a financial institution i have never had a credit card with, before doing a Consumer Proposal. Question is, two banks i would want to open new bank account with, i had credit cards +10years ago, all paid never any issue, i just cancelled the cards due to high annual fees. Can i still open a new bank account with one of them before doing a Consumer Proposal, without issues ?

As long as you don’t currently owe any money to them either of those two banks will be fine.
