Subsidiary / Division
September 20th, 2012 by Questions
Two major banks recently bought 2-other, smaller, financial institutions that I have
2-unsecured lines of credit with. If I open a bank account at one of the two major banks, then do a consumer proposal will that major bank be able to freeze, dip-into my bank account since my c.p., is for line of credit owed to their subsidiary, division ??

Any time you are filing a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy you should first open a new bank account with an institution you do not owe money too. This is the safest way to prevent any problems.
