There aren’t that many Amex “charge cards” still floating around. If the card has no credit facility (ie you cannot carry a balance) then you may be able to keep it, but your trustee will likely require proof that you have told Amex that you filed either bankruptcy and a proposal – that way they get to decidce whether or not they want to let you keep the card. Prrof usually takes the form of a letter or e-mail confirming that you’ve told them you have filed and they consent to your keeping the card.
