overdraft
January 5th, 2012 by Questions
I understand bank accounts in overdraft are included in consumer proposals but what about my principle account that goes in overdraft for a few hundred dollars but is replenished with each bi-weekly pay that brings it out of overdraft. Is this included or do they include it if the account is in overdraft at time of proposal?
Thanks

You should either cancel that overdraft prior to filing the consumer proposal so that it can’t go into overdraft or stop using that account and open an account at a different institution that doesn’t have overdraft.
