Hi I am considering a consumer proposal I am behind on many loans.. my main reason for falling behind is from being addicted to alberta video lottery terminals. currntly I am 36 days free of gambling would that make it difficult to be approved by the couts for a consumer proposal? thank you

This will really depend on your creditors. It is an aspect of your situation that would need to be disclosed to the creditors and as a majority of the creditors are required for the proposal to be approved it really is up to them to determine if they are going to take issue with a proposal. So it is difficult to say for sure, but it definately doesn’t rule out the filing of a proposal.
