Pre-Paid Credit Card after CP?
February 13th, 2011 by Questions
We are thinking of doing a consumer propsal for our credit card debt, which racked up after 3 bad years. I am wondering if a person could get a pre-paid credit card after filing for CP? It would make it easier to deal with some situations (online payments). But would it also help to rebuild credit?

This is a great thing to do during a consumer proposal and one that we strongly encourage as long as you have the discipline to use it wisely. By obtaining this secured credit card (and make sure it is a secured card not a pay as you go card) is an excellent way to start the credit repair process.
