Do I have to claim inheritance money during a consumer proposal?

You only have to claim inheritance money in a consumer proposal if (1) you know about the inheritance BEFORE you file, or (2) you learn about the inheritance in the first 60 days after you file. If you learn about the inheritance aftre the 60 days are up then you have no obligation to tell your trustee about it…
