Lost my job and consumer proposal in place

I am doing a consumer proposal and I have recently lost my job. I did get a severance package and I am wondering to my creditors take that away from me?

In a consumer proposal you do not have to worry about your creditors being able to seize any of your assets. So your severance package is safe as long as you continue to keep up with your commitments under that proposal.
