Can I still travel – one trip per year – if I file for consumer proposal?

There is nothing that would prevent you from traveling during a consumer proposal. The key thing is you just need to make sure arrangements have been made for your monthly payments while your are gone. You never want to be in a position where these payments are missed as missing the equivalent of 3 payments and the consumer proposal will be null and void.
