Proposal and Incorporation

November 2nd, 2007 by Questions

I am currently in a consumer proposal (DIV I type) that will last another several years. I`m self-employed and have a sole proprietorship. My client is requesting that I get incorporated. Is it possible to for me to incorporate while under this proposal? I do not have any employees.

There is nothing in the legislaion that prevents someone frome incorporating a company while they are in the midst of completing a division i proposal.

So I don’t anticipate you should have any issues. Although be advised running an incoroporated company is more costly than simply operating as self-employed.
