Providing hope to Canadians in debt, by sharing my experience.

WendyMy name is Wendy and I completed my consumer proposal in 2013 (Wendy’s Story). At the time, despite what I thought of as good financial awareness, my bills just got ahead of me. Before long, I was using lower interest account credit cards to pay off higher ones and that type of thing, and I realized I was in trouble. I saw a Trustee and filed a consumer proposal.  It was the best decision I could have made.

My goal is to help provide hope to Canadians in debt by sharing my experience, and advice as a consumer – and also to help eliminate the stigma and embarrassment surrounding people who file a consumer proposal or bankruptcy.

Finally, if you’re looking for help, and plain old optimism just isn’t helping anymore, you should contact a Trustee. There’s no risk in seeing one.
