If you have the ability to make a payment but can’t afford the payments on your debt in full each month you may wish to consider a consumer proposal. This option allows you to pay all or a portion of your debts interest free. The required payment is based on your budget and ability to pay. The payment structure can also be designed to fit any slow or busy periods for your business. Only a licensed trustee in bankruptcy can help you figure out if a consumer proposal is the right option for you. I would encourage you to make an appointment for a free consultation.
