Can I apply for bankruptcy if I am not a Canadian or immigrant(PR card) in Canada?

You do not need to be a Canadian citizen, nor an immigrant or permanent resident to file bankruptcy in Canada. In fact the legislation remains silent on this issue and the only residency requirement is that you have lived in or conducted your business in Canada at any time in the last 12 months.
