If your creditors obtained a Judgment against you and then registered an Execution Order with the Sheriff against your name (and therefore against your apartment) this debt will be dealt with by filing bankruptcy or a consumer proposal. If your creditors obtained a Court Order creating a specific charge against ytour apartment then it may not be. You’ll need to bring a copy of the Judgment or Order with you when you speak to a trustee about your situation. Once they review the documents the trustee shoudl be able to give you a more definitive answer.
