The most important thing is you have confidence in your trustee. What I would recommend is that you first do a google search for a trustee in your area. Look for one who posts comments and answers questions online. This is a good indication that they are committed to explaining things to everyone. Then schedule a consultation. Remember, this is an opportunity for you to meet with the trustee and determine if this is someone you have confidence in.
At this interview pay attention to what is being said. Make sure you are give adequate explanations and all questions are being asked. See if you get to meet with a trustee or if you are simply given an appointment with a junior staff member. These are all good indicators you can use to make your decision.
