I still owe payments on my vehicle in AB but I use my vehicle everyday for work and live in BC, will I need to give up my car if I still owe more then $5000 but less then $10,000?

As long as the equity in your vehicle is less than the amount allowed in your province (which in BC is 5,000.00), then the bankruptcy won’t have any impact on your ability to keep the car. You will simply continue to make payments on the loans as originally contracted.
