Inheritance during bankruptcy

November 2nd, 2009 by Questions

My father has died during my bankruptcy, and has left everything to me in his will. What happens to all his possessions? Do they sell everything of his and then pay off all the creditors? Do they go into his home and tak everything? He lived alone and I`m not sure what to do with his belongings?

I am soirry for your loss. You need to book an appointment to speak to your trustee to discuss the nature of the inheritence and anything of monetary value. They’ll explain how this may impact on your bankruptcy.
